The Endo Show
A podcast from Body of Evidence, hosted by journalist Beth McCowen. The Endo Show will focus on exploring endometriosis and adenomyosis through honest, in-depth conversations. The first episode will be released on Spotify soon.
Each episode brings together the people who live with these conditions and those who study, treat, and report on them — from patients and advocates to researchers, clinicians, athletes, and journalists. The Endo Show looks closely at what the evidence actually tells us, how systems are working (or not), and what it means to live with long-neglected pain.
What to expect
The Endo Show is for anyone who wants clear, experience-based conversations about endometriosis and adenomyosis, without the fluff. The aim of the series is to unpack:
- Why diagnosis often takes years, and what could make that faster and fairer.
- Pain in elite and grassroots sport — including how athletes navigate symptoms, careers, and expectations.
- How media and social platforms shape the stories we tell about endo and adeno.
- Identity, work, relationships, and the quiet negotiations of living with chronic pain.
- What we know (and don’t yet know) from the latest academic research and clinical practice.
- How different healthcare systems respond — and what better care might look like.
Episodes will be available on Spotify and linked from Body of Evidence when the show launches.
